All-Ages Comic Book Publishers:
Questions And Answers

Q: What is "All-Ages?"

A: In general, an all-ages book has content that would be suitable to print as a comic strip in a local newspaper. An all-ages book doesn't have to be for kids, but simply suitable for them to pick up and read.

Q: Why All-Ages?

A: My operation isn't big enough to print everybody's books. Acredale Media serves a specific niche market in a specific area of interest. Our goal is to serve publishers who provide material that can in general be enjoyed by kids as well as adults. We believe these books are the key to our industry's future. Currently the market for comic books is very tough for small publishers trying to put out all-ages books. We work to help those publishers succeed.

Q: I'm not sure if my book would be considered "All-Ages." How do I find out?

A: Weunderstand this can sometimes be a sensitive or subjective issue¬we encourage you to simply mail or fax the material in question and we'll be happy to get back in touch to let you know if it fits the all-ages classification.
